We welcome you to the sprawling annual festivities of the 100 year old Pushkar Mela; the largest cattle fair in the world, through its dramatic collage of various pictures, mirrors the vibrancy of the majestic state of Rajasthan. It is organised for a week from Kartik Ekadashi to Kartik Poornima, the full moon day of Kartik (October–November) in the Hindu calendar. The full moon day is the most important day, according to legend, this is the day when the Hindu god Brahma sprung up Pushkar Lake in which numerous people take a holy dip owing to its sacred water. This iconic fair attracts thousands of livestock and almost a million tourists including many from across the world, besides Pushkar also houses one of the few Brahma temples in the world.
In this Bike Tour, we get you riding to Pushkar from Jaipur (or Delhi) to witness one of the largest camel and livestock fair in the world. You would be surprised to see various mind-boggling events along with a perfect tinge of the Camel and Desert. A true destination to enjoy the local Rajasthani cuisines and a perfect place for shopaholics to collect eye catching souvenirs of Rajasthan. Day 1 : Jaipur
We kick start our tour in the heart of Rajasthan, Jaipur; also known as the Pink City for its trademark color of buildings. You will be required to reach Jaipur on the first day and you will have sufficient time to explore the local city. Stay overnight in Jaipur to begin your bike tour the following morning.
Day 2 & 3 : Jaipur to Pushkar (150 km)
This morning we start our journey from Jaipur to reach Pushkar for the upcoming festival for the next 2 days. The highlights for the day would include various events like Hot Air Balloon Flights, Sunset Safaris, Adventure Activities, Mustache Contest, Fusion Band Performance etc(all excluded from the itinerary). You will have sufficient time to roam around and spend 2 days seeing the best of the Pushkar Mela and we camp at The Narayan Resort for both the nights.
Day 4 : Pushkar to Jaipur (150 km)
After spending your 2 days in the Worlds Largest Camel Fair, we head back to Jaipur to complete the 4 day bike trip and bid adieu to each other in the evening.
