What is included in the tour

  •  Volvo transportation from Delhi to Shimla and from Manali to Delhi.
  •  Entire journey from Shimla to Manali conducted via tempo traveler.
  •  Accommodation for 6 nights: 1 night in camps at Chitkul, 1 night in a hotel in Kalpa,   2 nights in camps at Kaza, 1 night in camps at Chandra Taal, and 1 night in a hotel in Manali.
  •  Inclusive of meals: Breakfast and dinner starting from dinner on Day 1 and ending at breakfast on Day 7.
  • Covers expenses such as Driver Night Charges, Toll Tax, Parking Charges, etc.
  • Guidance provided by a Team Captain throughout the trip.
  • Availability of an Oxygen Cylinder 24/7 in the case for emergencies.

 

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Additional 5% GST applies.
  • Excluded are any food or beverages not specified in the package, such as alcoholic drinks, mineral water, or meals/refreshments/lunches on the highway.
  • Personal expenses such as tips for drivers, entrance fees to monuments/monasteries, camera/video camera charges, camel safaris, river rafting, laundry, telephone bills, tips, etc., are not covered.
  • Costs incurred due to natural disasters like landslides, roadblocks, etc., are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid on-site.
  • Anything not explicitly mentioned in the inclusions is not included.

 

Itinerary

DAY 0: DEPART FROM DELHI BY 09:30 PM

  • Our journey commences from Delhi at approximately 9:30 PM, boarding an AC Vehicle.
  • Remember, every moment counts; seize the opportunity to relish each moment along the way.
  • We'll make a pit stop for dinner at a decent roadside restaurant.

Day 1: Arrival in Shimla - Transfer to Chitkul. Overnight Accommodation in Chitkul.

  • Departure from Delhi during the night and arrival in Shimla the following morning.
  • Enjoy breakfast and refreshments in Narkanda.
  • Embark on the scenic journey towards Chitkul, the final Indian village before the China border.
  • Immerse in the breathtaking landscapes of the Kinnaur valley.

Day 2: Discover Chitkul and then travel to Kalpa. Spend the night in Kalpa.

  • Rise early to witness a stunning sunrise.
  • Discover the charming village of Chitkul. Depart for Kalpa around noon.
  • Arrive in Kalpa by evening, check into the hotel, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 3: Travel from Kalpa to Kaza via Nako, Tabo, and the Ka Loops.

  • Stay overnight in Kaza.
  • Get up early and begin your journey to Spiti Valley after breakfast.
  • Enter Spiti Valley through the Sumdo Border, stopping to explore Nako and Tabo villages on the way to Kaza.
  • Experience the exhilarating Ka Loops before reaching Kaza by evening.
  • Check-in at the campsite, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 4: Explore Key Monastery, Hikkim, Komic, and Langza. Stay overnight in Kaza.

  • Perched atop a hill and offering serene vistas of endless plains, Key Monastery is renowned globally as a hub of learning and a sanctuary for seekers of tranquility.
  • Next, venture to Asia's highest suspension bridge, the Chicham Bridge.
  • Discover some of the planet's loftiest inhabited areas.
  • Ascend to Komic, the highest village in Asia at 4513 meters, home to just 84 residents and often isolated from the outside world.
  • Then, proceed to Hikkim, where you can mail postcards from the world's loftiest post office.
  • In Langza, journey back to Spiti's prehistoric past when it lay beneath the Tethys Sea. Unearth a trove of marine fossils, a testament to this region's rich geological history.

Day 5: Journey to Chandra Taal - Spend the night near Chandra Taal.

  • Rise early, enjoy breakfast, and check out of the campsite.
  • Set off for Chandra Taal lake.
  • Make a snack stop at Losar, the final village in Spiti Valley.
  • Arrive at Chandra Taal by evening, settle into the camps.
  • Dine and spend the night in tents, gazing at countless stars and the Milky Way Galaxy above.

DAY 6: Depart for Manali - Old Manali café crawl - Overnight stay at Manali.

  • Wake up early morning & after breakfast depart for Manali.
  • Reach Manali by evening
  • Check-in to the hotel.
  • Old Manali café crawl.
  • Dinner and Sleep Overnight.

Day 7: Explore Manali on your own - Depart for Delhi.

  • Rise early to savor the stunning sunrise.
  • Embark on a self-guided exploration of Manali. Must-visit spots include Hadimba Devi Temple, Old Manali street, and Mall Road.
  • Head towards Delhi in the evening.
