● By Rail: Reach Srinagar by train, one has to reach either Jammu Tawi or Udhampur railway station and the stations are well connected with different parts of India.
● By Road: You can reach Srinagar by road by taking buses from Chandigarh, Gulmarg, Jammu, Sonamarg, Delhi and Pahalgam.

Itinerary

DAY-1 ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR

 

On arrival at Srinagar Airport, being your tour of Kashmir. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Later in the afternoon Enjoy a city tour of Srinagar visiting the famous Mughal Gardens on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), built in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his wife empress Noor Jehan. En-route visit a carpet weaving factory and Shankaracharya Temple. The evening is free for shopping and leisure activities. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities. Dinner and Overnight stay at a houseboat in Srinagar.

 

DAY-2 SRINAGAR - SONMARG - SRINAGAR

 

Today after Breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Sonmarg (Golden Meadow). Sonmarg lies in Sind Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of the Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajiwas glacier and sledge riding on snow (on direct payment). While returning back to Srinagar visit Manasbal Lake (Yet another mesmerizing Lake of the Valley) and Kheer Bhawani Temple, the most important temple for the followers of the Historical Vedic Religion in Kashmir, known as the Kashmiri Pandits. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

 

DAY-3 SRINAGAR – GULMARG 

 

This morning you will be transferred to Gulmarg, Meadow of Flowers. Situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, a full day at leisure to take leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow-capped mountains. Enjoy a pony ride or Gondola ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg at your own cost.. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Gulmarg.

 

DAY-4 GULMARG – PAHALGAM

 

After breakfast, leave Gulmarg and drive to Pahalgam on the way to visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is an eleven hundred years old temple. Finally, by lunch time you will reach Pahalgam which is the most famous place for the Indian Film Industry. After lunch, enjoy the natural charm of the valley. Later you can visit many breathtaking places like Betaab Valley, Aru valley & Chandanwari (ON OWN COST). Visit Baisaran via ponies. Check in to the Hotel. Dinner and Night Stay at the Hotel in Pahalgam.

 

DAY-5 PAHALGAM TO SRINAGAR – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

 

The morning after Breakfast, enjoy the whole day at Pahalgam. Enjoy the beautiful view, visit the local amusement park and enjoy horse riding at Pahalgam. Later, you can go on Shopping in the small town market at Srinagar. Enjoy a 01-hour Shikara Ride in the famous Dal Lake. Dinner and night stay at Houseboat in Srinagar. 

 

DAY-6 DEPARTURE

 

After a buffet breakfast, check out from your hotel and we will transfer you to Srinagar airport to board your flight to your respective hub. We hope you have a wonderful trip!
