Itinerary

SPITI VALLEY TOUR ( 10 N / 11 D)

Day 0: Delhi to Shimla (Semi sleeper Volvo)
● Start your journey from Delhi to Shimla in a semi sleeper Volvo bus.
Day 0: Delhi to Shimla (Semi sleeper Volvo)
● Reach Shimla by morning and check-in to the hotel (Standard Check-in Time) .
● Have dinner and overnight stay. You can also visit mall road in the evening.

Day 2: Shimla to Chitkul
● Depart from Shimla and head towards Chitkul, a beautiful village located in the Kinnaur
district of Himachal Pradesh.
● Enjoy the scenic drive as you pass through picturesque valleys and charming villages.
● On the way take a halt at Sangla valley, Karcham Dam and Rakcham Village.
● Arrive in Chitkul and settle into your accommodation.

Day 3: Chitkul Leisure Day
● Spend the day at leisure in Chitkul.
● Explore the village and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
● You can also interact with the friendly locals and learn about their culture and way of life.
● You take a hike to the nearby forest for some serene and peaceful environment.

Day 4: Chitkul to Kalpa

● Leave Chitkul and proceed towards Kalpa, a scenic town known for its apple orchards and
panoramic views of the Kinnaur Kailash range. On the way, have lunch at Reckong Peo.
● Enjoy the journey as you pass through winding mountain roads and witness the changing
landscape.
● Arrive in Kalpa and check into your accommodation and if weather allows, witness the mighty Kinnaur
Kailash Shivling.

Day 5: Kalpa to Tabo
● Depart from Kalpa and head towards Tabo, a historic village famous for its ancient
monastery.
● Enjoy the drive through rugged terrain and picturesque valleys. Take a halt at Khaab Sangal ( Confluence
for Sutlej and Spiti River)
● Visit the Tabo Monastery, which is renowned for its intricate murals and ancient Buddhist
artifacts.
● After exploring Tabo, settle into your accommodation for the night.

Day 6: Tabo to Kaza
● Continue your journey from Tabo to Kaza, the largest township in the Spiti Valley.
● Admire the stunning landscapes as you travel through high-altitude deserts and barren
mountains.
● Arrive in Kaza and check into your accommodation.
● After some rest take a stroll around the market.

Day 7: Kaza Local Sightseeing

● Spend the day exploring the attractions in and around Kaza.
● Visit the Key Monastery, one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Spiti Valley.
● Explore the nearby villages of Langza and Hikkim, known for their picturesque landscapes
and ancient monasteries.
● Return to Kaza and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 8: Kaza to Pin Valley to Kaza
● Embark on a day trip to the Pin Valley National Park, known for its diverse flora and fauna.
● Explore the park and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings.
● Return to Kaza in the evening and relax at your accommodation.

Day 9: Kaza to Chandertal via Chicham Bridge
● Leave Kaza and head towards Chandertal Lake, a stunning high-altitude lake known for its
pristine beauty.
● En route, cross the Chicham Bridge, one of the highest suspension bridges in Asia, offering
breathtaking views of the Spiti Valley.
● Arrive at Chandratal Lake and spend the night camping near the lake.

Day 10: Chandratal to Koksar
● Depart from Chandertal and make your way to Koksar, a popular hill station in Himachal
Pradesh.
● Enjoy the scenic drive through the mountains and valleys.
● Arrive in Koksar

Day 11: Manali to Delhi (Overnight Volvo)
● Depart from Manali on your own and take an overnight Volvo bus back to Delhi.
