Ladakh (meaning "land of high mountain passes") is a mountainous region in North India. Leh, the main city is situated at 3500m above sea level nestled in the great Himalayan, Karakoram, Zanskar and Ladakh ranges. Ladakh is known for remote mountain beauty, studded with monasteries and stupas.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control: 

We cannot pay any compensation, reimburse expenses, or cover losses for any amount or otherwise accept responsibility if as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we have to change your tour after booking, or we, cannot supply your tour, as we had agreed, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. When we refer to circumstances beyond our control, we mean any event that we could not foresee or avoid, even after taking all reasonable care. Such circumstances will usually include but are not limited to, war, the threat of war, airport closures, epidemic, Strike, natural or nuclear disaster, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial dispute, bad weather.

 

 

1- If any of the riders/customers is not willing to ride the bike or plans to give up on the way or at any destination due to fatigue, injury, tiredness or any other reason, then that specific rider/customer is liable to pay for the transportation of the bike to its original destination, which could be either Leh or Manali.  The cost of the transport can vary depending on the location of the bike and will be informed to the rider/customer on the spot and that will have to be directly paid on the spot. 

 

2-  If any of the riders/customers is not willing to ride the bike or plans to give up on the way or at any destination due to fatigue, injury, tiredness or any other reason and seeks help from our Marshall or Mechanic to ride the bike, then that specific rider/customer is liable to pay the mechanic or marshall for his assistance. Please note that the Mechanic or Marshall will only assist in case of an accident or tiredness on any given day of the trip while going from Point A to Point B and will not be responsible for riding the bike for the rest of the trip. If the rider is not going to be able to ride for the rest of the trip, then the bike transportation cost will apply as mentioned in point 1. 

 

 

3- The backup vehicle will be used for Luggage, extra fuel, mechanic toolkit , extra spares for the bike to be charged as per the cost.

Itinerary

13th June: Arrival at the Srinagar Airport transport to sonmarg

(Distance: 81 kms. / Driving Time: 2hrs.  

Arrive at the Sheik Ul-Alam International, You'll be meeting our representative at Airport, we will pick you from the airport and provide you transport for Sonmarg, to begin a once in a lifetime journey!. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.  

 

14th June | Sonmarg - Kargil via Zoji La Pass 

(Distance: 200 kms. / Driving Time: 6-7  hrs. / Altitude of Kargil: 2676 mts.) 

After breakfast, the day starts, we will allot you bikes and start riding from Sonmarg to Kargil, where you’d be visiting Sonamarg , the Kargil War Memorial on the way. Furthermore, we’ll be stopping at Mulbekh Monastery, where the statue “Chamba” is a remarkable piece carved over “Maitreya Buddha”. The night ends after you are served dinner on arrival at the hotel.  

 

15th June | Kargil- Leh via Fotu La Pass

(Distance: 220 kms. / Driving Time: 6-7  hrs. / Altitude of Leh: 3524 mts.) 

After Breakfast, we leave from Kargil and proceed to Leh. We will be left in awe of nature as we ride past the Moon Landscape near Lamayuru Monastery, enjoying the magnificent view. We also witnessed Sangam - the confluence of the Zanskar and Indus River on our way. Enroute, we visited the famous Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and the Hall of Fame museum. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

16th June | Leh- Nubra Valley via Khardungla 

(Distance: 130 kms. / Driving Time: 5  hrs. / Altitude of Nubra : 3048 mts.) 

We will take you to Khardungla pass which is the world’s highest motorable pass and  then Diskit, headquarters of Nubra Valley. Its attraction is that of an ancient monastery which was built in the 14th century and is one of the oldest monasteries in Nubra Valley. After a memorable day in Nubra Valley, it’s time to relax and end your day with tempting dinner and overnight stay

 

17th June | Hunder - Siachen base - Nubra 

(Distance: 100 kms. / Driving Time: 4-5  hrs.  

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to Siachen Base camp through Hunder village, reach back to Nubra by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

 

18th June | Nubra - Pangong Tso

(Distance: 180 kms. / Driving Time: 6  hrs. / Altitude of Pangong : 4250 mts.)

After an early breakfast, you will leave for Pangong, which has been a tourist attraction for a very long time and has gained further popularity after being a “hot-spot” for many film shoots. “The Pangong Lake” on the Indo-China Border, holds a route with quaint villages and Gompa. We would reach the lake a little before the sun sets, where you could spend time and soak in the breathtaking view of the crystal clear water and majestic mountains. After a relaxing evening, we would all sit for dinner and spend the night at the campsite at Pangong.

 

19th June| Pangong Tso - Hanle via Rezang La 

(Distance: 220 kms. / Driving Time: 7  hrs. / Altitude of Hanle: 4300 mts.)

After breakfast, we start our journey to the remote location of Hanle that inhabits a mere 200 families. The village has recently been opened for tourists and travelers. For the first 30 Kms, we would go along the blue waters of the Pangong Tso. The journey is a heaven for an adventure junkie that would take us through Maan, Merak, and Chushul. We will be crossing the Rezang-La, 1962 Indo-China War Memorial to pay homage to the Martyrs and continue our ride. We will also see the world's second largest observatory. The night sky view in Hanle seems almost unreal as one can see the Galaxy with naked eyes. We sum up the day after a hearty meal and retreat to the cozy homestay.

 

20th June| Hanle - Tso Moriri

(Distance: 240 kms. / Driving Time: 6  hrs. / Altitude of Tso Moriri : 4522 mts.)

Post breakfast, we will retrace the journey till Puga Sumdo before taking a left for Tsomoriri. Puga gives us beautiful views of the hot water springs there, making one realize the untapped beauty of mother nature. We see the landscapes change throughout the journey before reaching the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite. 21st June | Tso Moriri - Sarchu ( Distance : 228 kms / Driving Time : 6 Hrs / Altitude of Sarchu : 4290 Mts .) Post breakfast , We will start our journey towards sarchu , while on the journey we`ll be by-passing tsokar lake , The journey from Tso-moriri to Sarchu will challenge us, amaze us, and leave us asking for more.. We will also be crossing Naki la (15,647 ft), and Lachung la (16,616 ft) and ride across the famous More plains and Gata Loops!, Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite. 

 

22nd June|  Sarchu to Jispa via Baralacha La Pass

(Distance: 90 kms. / Driving Time: 4-5 hrs. / Altitude of Jispa: 3050 mts.) 

Gear up for the day and start the journey towards Jispa post breakfast. Enroute, we will visit Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal. We will also cross the famous Baralacha Pass located at 16,616ft. which connects Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh to Ladakh. Upon arrival, we would settle down in our campsite taking in the beauty of our ending point in Ladakh and revamp for our ride tomorrow. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

 

23rd June|  Jispa to Manali via Rohtang Pass- delhi departure 

(Distance: 140 kms. / Driving Time: 6-7 hrs. / Altitude of Manali: 2050 mts.) 

This is the final leg of our ritual road trip. We start our day early as we leave for Manali. The route is slightly rough, so this day we shall try and cover the maximum distance with minimum stopovers. Later, we all celebrate the completion of our epic road journey. After that we proceed with overnight bus journey from Manali to delhi
