About the Destination - BiR is a town located in (Joginder Nagar Valley) Baijnath area of the state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India. It is located about 3.5 hours away from McLeodganj city, 6 hours from Chandigarh and 11 hours from Delhi. It’s famous for adventure tourism and is known for having the ‘’Second highest jumping spot in the world,’’ Bir is a perfect weekend as well as honeymoon destination in Himachal Pradesh. After the success of the Paragliding World cup. Bir is now known as the Paragliding capital of India.
Bir is a noted centre for ecotourism, spiritual studies and meditation. Bir is also home to a Tibetan refugee settlement with several Buddhist monasteries and a large Stupa.
The village continues to host periodic international competitions and events. Paragliding World Cup 2015 is set to commence from the 21st of October in Bir. The paragliding launch site is in the meadow at Billing (14 km north of Bir), at an elevation of 2400 meters, while the landing site and most tourist accommodations are in the village of Chowgan (also spelled Chaugan), on the southern edge of Bir. While billing is takeoff site for paragliding and Bir for landing. Collectively it is known “Bir Billing”.

Brief Itinerary :
Day 1 : An overnight Journey from Delhi to Bir by AC Semi sleeper Volvo
Day 2 : Arrival at Bir – Hiking to Gunehar Waterfall
Day 3 : Paragliding – Bir valley local sightseeing | Departure
Day 4 : Drive to home (Bir to Delhi)
Day 0: An overnight journey to BiR by AC Volvo
Reach at Volvo stand (Majnu ka tilla, Kashmiri gate, Delhi) with your group by the evening before Departure time of your Volvo. And report to the bus operator, it will help you find your reserved seat. Overnight journey (approximately 13:00 Hrs) to Bir by Volvo.
Day 1: Arrival at Bir – Hiking to Gunehar Waterfall
Arrive early in the morning in Bir and meet our rep who will escort you to the camp. After welcome drinks, enjoy indoor games like Chess, Carom Board, and Jinga, etc. After getting rejuvenated. Head for a 7 Km day hike to a hidden waterfall of Bir, Gunehar waterfall. After a 2 hrs moderate trek, you will reach Vishudhanand swami’s Kuti, also known as “Baba Ji ki Kuti”. Every year many devotees come here to get God's blessings. After resting, we continue the hike to Gunehar waterfall. Upon arrival, you will enjoy the fresh natural water resource in this hidden forest post which we head back to return.
You will also visit the Dharmalaya living institute while trekking back to camp. We take a quick stop at the beautiful sunset point with a 360 Degree view of the Himalayas.
Return to the campsite and enjoy the bonfire and music !

Day 02: Paragliding – Bir valley local sightseeing | Departure
Post breakfast, we leave for sightseeing in Bir. Start your drive from the camp and reach at Chaugan village (known as the landing site of Bir) enjoy the extreme adventure Paragliding (your own, not included in the package) from Asia’s highest peak Paragliding spot and land at Bir. By the evening, after having a full day chill in Camp, check out from the camp, say bye to this beautiful destination because your trip officially comes to end our representative escort you at your dropping point, Volvo stand Bir. By the evening/noon drive towards home (Delhi) drive towards your next destination either Depart to your onward journey with sweet memories
