What is included in the tour

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar
Arrive in Amritsar and check into your hotel.
Visit the iconic Golden Temple, the holiest Sikh shrine, and explore its serene surroundings.
Witness the evening ceremony at the Wagah Border, a famous border ceremony between India and
Pakistan.
Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar Sightseeing
Start the day by visiting the Jallianwala Bagh, a historical site that commemorates the tragic massacre of
Indians by British forces in 1919.
Explore the Partition Museum, which chronicles the history and stories of the partition of India in 1947.
In the evening, you can visit the bustling local markets for shopping and try out local delicacies.
Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 3: Amritsar to Dharamshala
Leave Amritsar and drive to Dharamshala, located in the beautiful Kangra Valley.
On arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax.
In the evening, explore the local markets of Dharamshala and try Tibetan cuisine.
Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 4: Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj
Visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex in McLeod Ganj, the residence of the Dalai
Lama. Explore the Namgyal Monastery and Bhagsunath Temple in McLeod Ganj.
Visit the Tibetan Museum to learn more about Tibetan culture and history.
Enjoy the scenic beauty of the area and take a leisurely walk in the surrounding hills.
Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 5: Kangra Valley Excursion
Take a day trip to the Kangra Valley, known for its natural beauty and historical sites.
Visit the Kangra Fort, one of the oldest forts in India with a rich history.
Explore the Kangra Art Museum, which houses a vast collection of Tibetan and Buddhist artifacts.
Visit the Masroor Rock Cut Temple, a complex of ancient temples carved out of rock. Overnight
stay in Dharamshala.

Day 6: Departure
Check out from your hotel in Dharamshala.
If time permits, you can visit the Norbulingka Institute, which is dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture
and art.
Departure from Dharamshala with beautiful memories of your trip & Transfer to Chandigarh
Drop at Chandigarh Bus/Train or Aiport Drop.
