Overview

Switzerland is a landlocked mountainous country in South-Central Europe. A single vacation spot has idyllic landscapes with a variety of snow-capped mountains and ice-cold mountain lakes, melting glaciers and mountain pastures well suited as downhill ski slopes in winter.  This place is all about once-in-a-lifetime journeys with ravishing landscapes. It has a distinct rural life with traditions rooted in an agricultural calendar, with soaring Alpine peaks lending the landscape a dramatic backdrop. When you go beyond Switzerland’s urban facade you will discover villages sometimes on stilts, sometimes half-tumbling down a green slope, complete with timber granaries, a riot of red geranium flowers spilling out of their window plant stands.

Then there are the colourful fairs and age-old markets, selling everything from seasonal produce to cheese, wine, chocolates and the ubiquitous cuckoo clock, and a lot of times brass instruments. And not to miss out the food which is robust, exploding with flavours that are a celebration of the country’s obsession with cheese, fresh and gooey, chocolates, game and an array of air-dried meats.

Itinerary

Day 1 | Zurich
Arrive at Zurich Airport. Before you board your train to Lucerne you have option to head to Observatory Deck at Zurich Airport. You can witness take off & landing of flights. Experience fascinating insights & views of Zurich Airport. Later we board train from Zurich Airport & proceed to Interlaken using Swiss Rail Pass. Interlaken is popular Holiday Region amongst its tourists & famous for its panoramic views of the majestic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau. Enjoy the magnificent blooms of spring, the adventures of summer, the colours of autumn and atmospheric winters in the heart of Switzerland.

Day 2 | Zurich
Take a seat in the aerial gondola and let it take you up the local mountain of the famous mountain village of Grindelwald. Guest will be able to experience First Cliff Walk by Tissot, Lake Bachalpsee & many more activities. Evening take a stroll around Interlaken City. Explore Interlaken’s historic heart in the “Hohenmatte”, travel by public bus (included with Swiss Pass) away from tourist trail or guide along the banks of the Aare river.

Day 3 | Zurich
Day Free at Leisure to explore Interlaken & nearby mountains or enjoy an (optional) trip to Jungfraujoch.

Day 4 | Zermatt
After breakfast we travel to Zermatt. Zermatt is the village at the foot.
 

Day 5 | Zermatt
After breakfast we travel to Zermatt. Explore by your own

Day 6 | Zurich
Enjoy breakfast at your Hotel. Today we proceed to Zurich enjoy yourself a beauty of city

Day 7 | Zurich
Enjoy breakfast & check-out from the Hotel. Board train from Zurich Hbb train station to Airport for your flight. We hope you had a wonderful time & sweet memories of your trip to Switzerland & we expect to see you soon on some of our other tour programs.
