Sikkim is a very attractive hilly area, which always attracts tourists with its amazing views. Sikkim is also world famous for Kanchenjunga, the world's third highest peak. In this state, nature has spent a lot of time in the state; tourists can see beautiful hills, lakes, etc here.

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhistpilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Itinerary

DAY1 - ARRIVE BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/NJP – DARJEELING (90 KM)

Meet our representative on arrival at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station and drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. In the evening you are free to explore the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY2-DARJEELING – GANGTOK (105 KM)

Early in the morning, we will leave for Tiger Hill for witnessing sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. Return to the hotel and en-route visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later, After breakfast drive to Gangtok, land of unspoiled natural beauty with alpine landscapes, thick luxuriant forests, rivers in torrent and peaceful lakes. On arrival, check into a hotel. For rest of the day you are free to explore the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY3-GANGTOK

After breakfast, proceed to Tsongmo Lake (12,210 ft) and Baba Mandir, a 40 km drive which takes 2.5 hrs. This lake is located very close to Nathu La Pass, which is the entry point to China termed as the “Silk Route” and remains frozen for most parts of the year. The lake is home to the Brahminy ducks and many migratory birds. Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth. We can also visit the Nathu La Pass, which is the border between India and China. Later drive back to Gangtok. In the evening you are free for your own activities, followed by overnight stay at the hotel.

 DAY4-GANGTOK – BAGDOGRA/NJP DROP ( 130 Km/ 04 Hours )

After breakfast drive to Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station for reaching your onward destination.
