Itinerary

DAY 1-

Cochin -Munnar

Arrival at Cochin our Driver/Representative will meet you at Airport/Railway station and Memorable Journey Start With God`s Own Country and further transfer to the Munnar hotel. Enroute to Munnar stop at Cheeyapara Waterfalls, Valara Water falls, Wonder Valley Park ,Jungle Jeep Safari, later check in at the Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel

 

DAY 2-

Munnar

Breakfast at the Hotel

After breakfast Morning pick up @08:30 Hrs from the hotel  for Full day sightseeing  - Munnar Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Eravikulam National Park, Rajamalai , Blossom Park, Rose Garden, Boating at Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point ,Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory , Tea Powder Shopping, later in the evening back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar Hotel (Eravikulam National Park will be closed from February to April mid due to breeding season of Goats)

 

DAY 3-

Munnar - Thekkady

After Breakfast at the Hotel proceed to Thekkady. Thekkady- One of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978.Sightseeing & Activities :-Thekkady Wildlife Boating on Periyar (Depends on the availability –we suggest book online in advance), Spice Garden, Elephant Ride, Thekkady Ayurvedic Body Massage Evening free for shopping (Optional Kadhakali show & kalaripayattu Kerala ancient martial art)Overnight stay at Thekkady Hotel

 

DAY 4-

Thekkady –Alleppey

After breakfast proceed for Alleppey , you can enjoy sightseeing points in Alleppey, Enjoy nature with the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the “Venice of East” by travellers from across the world. This backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. These large networks of canals with spectacular Backwaters, Beaches, Marine products & Coir industry. You can enjoy a night stay at House Boat.

DAY 5-

Alleppey – Trivandrum - Kanyakumari

After Breakfast check out from the Houseboat and transfer to Kovalam. Enroute we will visit the Famous Jatayu Earth Centre The giant concrete statue of Jatayu is built on a mighty rock named Jatayupara (para means rock in Malayalam). The colossal statue is 200 feet long,150 feet wide and 70 feet making is the largest functional bird sculpture in the world with an enter into the Guinness Book of World Records. Later will continue to Kanykaumari Enroute visit Trivandrum. Trivandrum is the Evergreen city of India where it offers a feel of natural beauty, commercial touch up and even pilgrimage. Visit: The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple.  Arrive at Kanyakumari and check in at the Hotel Overnight stay at Kanyakumari Hotel.

 

DAY 6-

Kanyakumari - Poovar-Kovalam –

Early morning if you wish to watch Sunrise you can inform the hotel for a wakeup call One can sight beautiful sunrises anywhere in Kanyakumari, but, this place is quite special. The sun rises between the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar statue ! Kanyakumari represents southernmost tip of peninsular India and 3 seas, namely the Indian ocean, Bay of Bengal and the Arabian sea meet here After breakfast Kanyakumari Sightseeing Kanyakumari Places to see Bhavathi Amman Temple, Ramayan Mandir,Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Mandapam, Beach, later transfer to Kovalam enroute visit Azhimala Shiva Temple adds a mystic touch to the place. The temple which is perched on the cliff adjoining the sea is an ancient one that envelops the whole region in a pious aura. The temple is noted for its 58-ft-tall statue of Lord Shiva in the Gangadhareswara form, all made in concrete. The massive structure with Shiva's hair flowing in the wind and holding Goddess Ganga has a charm of its own and lends a magnificent appeal to the temple later visit Poovar , explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. Enveloped in serene Kerala backwaters, flanked by the Arabian Sea on the East and the majestic towering Ghats to the West, opening out to the ocean and a dream golden beach you can visit by a boat Swaying coconut palms, endless golden sands, the ultramarine of the ocean, emerald backwaters, crimson sunsets and lush green vegetation create a magical ambience around you, Evening free at Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam Hotel    

 

Day 7-

Kovalam - Trivandrum Railway Station

Breakfast at the Hotel (Packed Breakfast)
